Meet Deborah Rodriguez-Gonzalez

Paralegal • Legal Operations Specialist • Advocate for Better Law Firm Systems

Deborah Rodriguez-Gonzalez brings nearly a decade of hands-on paralegal experience across civil litigation, criminal defense, family law, appellate practice, worker’s compensation, construction defect, and immigration matters. Her background spans boutique firms, mid-sized practices, and one of the nation’s largest defense firms, giving her a rare, holistic understanding of how legal work flows — and where firms need support the most.

Beginning her career in criminal defense, Deborah worked in state, federal, and appellate courts, managing case files, drafting motions, coordinating with law enforcement, preparing clients for court, and supporting trial work from intake through verdict.

She later transitioned into family law, becoming the organizational backbone of a multifaceted practice where she managed day-to-day operations, drafted mandatory disclosures, prepared clients for mediation, coordinated with opposing counsel, handled immigration and federal criminal matters, and ensured cases moved efficiently and compassionately.

Deborah’s civil litigation experience includes working at multiple leading defense firms such as Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, one of the nation’s largest full-service defense firms, supporting attorneys in auto liability, premises liability, construction defect, trucking litigation, product liability, and worker’s compensation cases. She also brought her expertise to Bleakley Bavol Denman & Grace, a respected mid-size litigation firm, where she played a key role in liability and construction defect cases. In addition to her drafting and trial preparation work, she developed procedure handbooks for paralegals, led NALA exam study sessions, helped with new system integrations, and trained incoming staff — contributions that demonstrate both leadership and operational acumen.

At these firms, she drafted pleadings and subpoenas, managed discovery, prepared trial binders, coordinated experts, performed background investigations, created internal procedure handbooks, trained staff, and even assisted with firm-wide system integrations.

Her exposure to firms of every size — from intimate single-attorney practices to high-volume regional and national firms — gave her a critical perspective:

Smaller firms deserve the same caliber of paralegal support, systems, and organization that big firms rely on every day.

That belief became the foundation of Solera Legal.

Today, Deborah brings the precision, structure, and high-level expectations she learned in large litigation environments to firms of all sizes. Her work blends top-tier paralegal skills with modern legal operations, allowing attorneys to delegate confidently, manage cases more efficiently, and deliver exceptional service to their clients.

Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, deeply experienced, and committed to excellence, Deborah leads Solera Legal with a simple mission:

Provide law firms with the same high-quality support, systems, and drafting excellence found in big-firm practice — without the overhead.
